There was a line out the door this morning but they move QUICK! They offer online ordering ahead which is nice and have a station where you can grab and go. They include different sugars, free water and cups, condiments for coffee for take out. We absolutely loved this place. Their coffee options are unique and tasty. We dared to try the vegan sweet potato and coconut pastry and WOW we were so shocked it was one of the more delicious pastries we have ever tried. We also had it warmed. There is a gender neutral bathroom and plenty of room for anyone needing more space with disabilities.
They have amazing cold brew and espresso drink options. We enjoyed the fanatic and an iced latte with hazelnut, 1/4 sweet with an added shot. They made them perfectly!
We will be back for sure!
This was my first time while visiting San Diego and on my way back home to LA, the place was packed, but worth the wait. The drink was decently priced and very tasty. The menu was named in very unique way.
Great chill place to do work. Calm music, good vibes and friendly service. The drinks are fun and taste good, and the baked goods are delicious as well. Vegan options for both are a nice plus. Only negative is it can be too busy to find comfortable seating sometimes.
Great coffee. Prices are on par for the region for its quality. I've tried almost all their coffee and latte options at this point. Definitely my favorite coffee shop in the area.
As far as food goes, I've only tried the "Rule 34," and I thought the portion size and quality was a great deal for fhe price (pictured below).
If you are planning on working here: Power outlets may be competitive, so a longer charging cord, or full charge charge is recommended.
If you want a relaxing morning/early afternoon cup with friends, you may need to consider sitting on the patio or taking it to-go-- seating fills up fast.
Most of my complaints are just a result of the volume of customers they serve. This is generally a sign of quality. They also take time to treat every customer interaction with care, and are pretty quick to remember regulars by name.
Coffee shops are a dime a dozen, but this place does a lot right, so it gets a well deserved 5/5 stars.
Spacious cafe with good coffee. Not sure if that scone was actually a scone though. Tested more like a cinnamon roll using premade dough lol.
Also limited outlets and can get busy during the day (that's when you know it's good though).
Second stop here while i recharge my car and this time im enjoying a Nutella iced coffee with almond milk which the person at the counter so nicely suggested it will go well..nice little spot in san diego
I have been wanted to try the coffee here. But when I finally did, the coffee did not meet my expectation to be honest. It was over roasted so it tasted bitter and burnt. The matcha latte was nicer! I also tried the chocolate mash mallow scone which tastes okay. The vibe was good so I gave this place a 4 star.
I had the Binary Code coffee and the Tomato and Pesto Buns pastry. The coffee was good, but the pastry was to die for. Super good. Whoever is making those needs a raise. I’m definitely coming back for those. The store atmosphere was also generally quiet and had a good authenticity to it. Staff was kind and respectful. A good place to sit down and do some computer work.
